"What hurts me the most is that the objectives were not fulfilled during my time here. It hit me personally because no one likes to fail to achieve the goal of becoming champions," said the Argentine coach to América Deportes.
Despite the three consecutive defeats, he is satisfied with the team's performance but admits failure in the results.
"I think the team performed well, we didn't score goals and the few times we made mistakes, they scored against us," added Compagnucci.
After eight months in the Cream team, this is what he will miss the most about Universitario: "The human group of players that I had both last year and now. I expressed it to them in the last talk I had with them. I have been working as a coach and assistant for 23 years and the truth is that one of the most comfortable groups I have worked with, I never had a problem with them. I have great memories of all of them, they are all good people."
