Waiting for the matches of the Liga 1 2023 to be played normally, the clubs continue training and preparing for a good debut. Alianza Lima is one of them, so Guillermo Salas is fine-tuning those details that were evident in the last friendly against Atlético Nacional in Medellín. Thus, Bryan Reyna, one of the signings of the 'Íntimos', gave details about the work they are doing.
The forward from Academia Cantoalo commented, in an interview with 'GOLPERU', that the players of the team are eager to compete again and hope that the sociopolitical situation in the country improves so that guarantees are provided. He also added that the conflict over the broadcasting rights between the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) and the opposing clubs is also delaying the start of the Apertura Tournament.
"We are eager and we hope that things can improve in the country as well as the issue of the TV conflict, since what we want is to play," said the 24-year-old forward. On the other hand, he also talked about his aspirations after joining the club from La Victoria. "Alianza is a big team, it's also a showcase for me and we hope to do well at the local and international level," he added.
Also, regarding the competition in Alianza Lima's forward line, Reyna stressed that he feels comfortable around so many experienced players and that it will be beneficial for his game. It is worth remembering that players of the caliber of Pablo Sabbag and Gabriel Costa also joined, who will fight for a spot in 'Chicho' Salas' starting eleven.
"There is a lot of competition, there are very good players with great experience. I have to fight for a place, it's a healthy competition. I always adapt to the left, I always play there. I am a player who always goes forward and takes on, that's what I like," he added, emphasizing the area where he performs best.
Finally, regarding his personal and collective goals, Bryan Reyna set himself the goal of winning the tricampeonato with Alianza Lima and leaving a good impression in the 2023 Copa Libertadores. "To win again and have a good Libertadores. I believe we have a team for that, I believe we will have two good tournaments," he pointed out.
