On the last Sunday, January 8th, Alianza Lima presented their entire squad for the 2023 season to their fans in the so-called Tarde Blanquiazul. In this event, one of the players who received the most applause from the supporters was forward Aldair Rodríguez. While they were announcing the national striker, a salsa song played in the background, so goalkeeper Ángelo Campos asked him to dance in front of the stage, but he refused to do so.
In the footage of the broadcast, you can see that the starting goalkeeper of the Victoria's team made a gesture with his hands, as if imitating the steps that 'Alda' performed during the celebration of the goal he scored against San Martín.
However, the former player of Deportivo Binacional only smiled and shook his head to indicate to the Peruvian goalkeeper that he preferred not to dance.

Alianza footballer's bitter memory of dancing at the presentation
This episode involving Aldair Rodríguez is similar to what happened to Cristian Zúñiga during the Noche Blanquiazul 2020. The Colombian forward stole the show on that occasion and performed some curious dance moves on stage.
However, the story of the Colombian had a bitter ending at Alianza Lima. The striker showed a low level of performance in the few times he played and couldn't score any goals, so he ended up terminating his contract before the end of the year. In addition, that campaign ended with the team's relegation from the sport.
