Alianza Lima Midfielder Speaks Before Final Match
Alianza Lima midfielder, Andrés Andrade, spoke a few days before the first leg of the final match between the team and Universitario de Deportes for the national title of the League 1 2023.
Regarding this, the Colombian midfielder expressed his frustration for not being able to participate in the two most important matches of the year for the team. However, he assured that his teammates are working hard to achieve the desired three-peat.
"I can't, but I know my teammates will give their all on the field. I feel frustrated for not being able to face this final, this beautiful moment. It's sad, but I have to face it," he said.
"The team is motivated. The nerves will always be present, it's a final, and it's against the eternal rival. It will be a great final... It's 180 minutes, where we have to be very intelligent. We have to make our status as two-time champions count," he added.
His Future at Alianza
On the other hand, the 34-year-old player reiterated his desire to stay at Matute for the next season: "My intention, as I have always said, is to stay at Alianza. We'll see what happens," he said.
