This international friendly will take place on Friday, January 13th at La Granja Stadium and you can follow it from 17:00 hours in Peru. It will be a tough test for the merengues, as they will face a team that finished among the top positions in the national championship (3rd place) and will also participate in phase 2 of the Copa Libertadores, where they will face Cerro Porteño from Paraguay.
To achieve the result, the team will have an extra incentive, as Alexander Succar joins the delegation that will travel to the southern country. According to the "Charla Táctica Perú" portal, the forward from the Peruvian National Team has overcome a series of discomforts and is an option for coach Compagnucci.
Universitario's striker trained with the rest of the squad, leaving behind a muscular discomfort that prevented him from playing against 'Poetas' and the Serie A champions from Ecuador.
"Alexander Succar trained after overcoming a muscular discomfort that prevented him from playing against Vallejo and Aucas. The team travels to Chile on Thursday, and the forward will be part of the delegation," reads the publication.
