Alianza Lima, current two-time champion of the Women's League, wants to continue making history, this time at the international level. The blanquiazul club will be the Peruvian representative in the Copa Libertadores Femenina, a tournament for which it has just confirmed the incorporation of three Colombian players.
"Welcome, íntimas! We announce Paola García (midfielder), Estefanía Cartagena (forward), and Johannys Muñoz (defender) as reinforcements for this Copa Libertadores 2022. The story continues!" announced the victorian team through social networks.
Both García and Muñoz, who have been part of the Colombian national team, come from Independiente Santa Fe, a club that reached the semi-finals of the Colombian league this year. Cartagena, on the other hand, arrives as an artilleryman from Junior de Barranquilla.
