Jefferson Farfán and Paolo Guerrero are two of the best national players who have emerged in recent years. On one hand, the 'Foquita' shone in all the teams he was in, while the 'Depredador' did the same. Likewise, both are legends in the Peruvian national team and were important for the memorable return to the World Cup after more than 30 years.
Currently, both are in the twilight of their careers and, in light of this, José Velásquez, also known as 'El Patrón', gave them some advice.
"Well, Farfán has already had the opportunity to play abroad, just like Paolo Guerrero. I think they should consider retiring because they are of the age to retire. As for money, I think they have enough, so it's better to leave with all they have achieved instead of playing injured, I don't think it's a good idea. If they hear me, I tell them, please retire, don't be stubborn (said jokingly)," he began in a dialogue with Willax.

About Farfán in the classic
'El Patrón' also commented on the physical condition of the 'Foquita' in the match that Alianza Lima lost to Universitario, in which he entered the field almost at the end of the match.
"If you eat a lot and even more than you should, well, you're going to gain weight, but if you maintain yourself like me (jokingly)," he pointed out.
