Sporting Cristal achieved a hard-fought victory in the Clausura Tournament. They won 4-2 against ADT and regained the top position in the standings, while also leading in the accumulated table pending Melgar vs Binacional match.
This coming weekend there will be no match due to the municipal elections; however, matchday 14 will be played midweek. There, the Celestials will travel to the highlands to face Ayacucho FC, who are in need of a victory.
The match against the Zorros will be another final for Roberto Mosquera. Ayacucho has more at stake than just 3 points, as they practically need to secure their spot in Liga 1. They are currently in the bottom positions, so they must win all their matches. Meanwhile, the Celestials also need to win to stay on top.
When is Cristal's next match and who will they face?
On Wednesday, October 5th, in the city of Cumaná, Sporting Cristal will face Ayacucho FC. The match is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. and you can enjoy the broadcast through Gol Perú.
