A few months ago, Adriana Lúcar confessed that both she and her teammate Myrian Tristán were part of a regrettable scene that caused coach Doriva Bueno. The coach called them "the forbidden fruits" of the Peruvian national team. This situation caused both players to decide not to play for the national team anymore, and now number 9 takes her revenge in the Women's League.

That's right. Adriana Lúcar's Alianza Lima faced Doriva Bueno's Sporting Cristal in the semifinals of the Women's League, where the white and blue team came out victorious and qualified for the final of the tournament. With this, the striker takes a "personal revenge" against the coach who, as mentioned, put her through a lamentable incident during the Peru national team concentration.
What happened between Doriva Bueno and Adriana Lúcar?
A few weeks ago, Adriana Lúcar revealed what happened with the Brazilian coach. Everything started because of the relationship between the coach and the footballer Maca López, who was called up for Peru; according to the Alianza Lima player, "it was unfair" that she was called up when she didn't have any playing time or competition.
"Last year, we realized that Doriva started calling up his girlfriend, despite not having played for several months and not being part of any club. To me, it seems like a completely unfair behavior," said Adriana Lúcar in a digital interview.
"The main reason why I left the national team is because of the coach's relationship (Doriva Bueno at that time) with one of the players. I consider that this simple fact puts into question any decision that the coach can make", added Adriana Lúcar on that occasion.
Alianza Lima goes for the bicampeonato
Now, Alianza Lima women's team goes for the bicampeonato in the Women's League. After qualifying for the final, they will face Carlos A. Mannucci. The date and time are yet to be defined.
