The Peruvian Marcos López has had a promising start playing with Feyenoord and is once again a protagonist, this time against PSV, away. This Sunday, the left back was key for his team to make it 2-2 before halftime: he dribbled down the left and his cross caused a rebound, which Danilo turned into a goal.

The match at the Philips Stadion started with a lot of intensity and Oussama Idrissi (3') scored the first goal in favor of 'Het Legioen', silencing the local fans. However, the home team reversed the score, with goals from Jarrad Branthwaite (16') and Cody Gakpo (25').

Due to the disadvantage, Feyenoord pushed forward to press and the task was effective: they provoked an error from goalkeeper Walter Benítez, who couldn't clear the ball properly. The ball reached the feet of Quinten Timber, a midfielder who built the offensive play, with the support of Javairo Dilrosun and Idrissi.

After the combination of passes, Oussama Idrissi saw that López was making a run behind him and he enabled him with a 'backheel' pass, inside the box. The Peruvian had a clear vision and quickly delivered a low cross to the center, where Armando Obispo, the PSV defender, tried to clear.

However, the defender miscalculated and left the ball free for Danilo, who easily finished to make it 2-2 for Feyenoord. After the goal, Marcos celebrated with his teammates and also received some advice to keep dribbling down the left flank. The former Sporting Cristal player has adapted well to the coach Arne Slot's system.
