The Alianza Lima women's team continues to show its power in the Women's League and this Saturday there was an important 2-1 victory over Universitario, in a new edition of the classic of the category. Sandra Arévalo and Adriana Lúcar were the architects of the goals of the great comeback and there was a special celebration at the end.

The story on Matute's turf was beneficial for the 'U', as Nahomi Martínez scored the partial 0-1 at 63 minutes. However, that did not discourage the 'Blanquiazules', who were more aggressive and gradually found opportunities to equalize the match.

Finally, at 85', the long-awaited draw arrived, after a free-kick from the right wing. Sandra Arévalo managed to escape from her markers and inflated the nets, with a precise header, taking advantage of the goalkeeper Karla López's bad exit. Although parity was positive for Alianza Lima, the players wanted another celebration.

Later, in added time (95'), the La Victoria squad generated a penalty and the person in charge of taking it was Adriana Lúcar. The outstanding goalscorer shot low, towards the right post of the goalkeeper, decreed the comeback by 2-1 and celebrated imitating Cristiano Ronaldo.

After the match, the Alianza Lima members staged another celebration, this time with their hand on their forehead, in the style of Alexander Succar, author of one of the goals in the victory of Universitario in the men's classic. After this result, the 'Blanquiazules' lead the standings with 17 points, while the 'Cremas' remain in third place with 10 units.
