The Peruvian U-23 national team is preparing to face Chile in a friendly match. Therefore, the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) announced the list of call-ups for the match against the Chileans, which will take place on Wednesday, August 31 at the Videna facilities.
In total, coach Flavio Maestri decided to call up 21 national players. The main surprise is the absence of the midfielder from Universitario de Deportes, Piero Quispe, who was called up in the previous microcycle and has been standing out in the Liga 1 Betsson.
Among the most outstanding players in the squad are winger Didier La Torre from NK Osijek in Croatia and Catriel Cabellos from Racing in Argentina. Also included in this list are Matías Succar from Carlos A. Mannucci and Renzo Garcés from César Vallejo as free category players, and young forward Juan Pablo Goicochea from Alianza Lima.
