The Peruvian U23 national team will play against Chile in a friendly match that will take place on Wednesday, August 31. This match will be held at the Tierra de Campeones stadium in Iquique.
According to Líbero journalist Gustavo Peralta, the coach in charge of the Peruvian U23 national team will be Flavio Maestri.
In an interview with Radio Ovación, Flavio Maestri spoke about the work he has been doing with the U17 team and stated that his dream is to contribute to Peruvian football.
"Here, the dream is to contribute to Peruvian football. From my side, to contribute to the player, to keep growing in football and personally. We look at the personal aspect of the player, we have specialists, but as coaches we have to contribute to that", he explained.

The microcycle sessions for the Peruvian U23 national team will take place between August 22 and 24.
