The Peruvian national team will begin a new process with Juan Reynoso, who was announced as the coach of the national team a few weeks ago. The new coach of the 'Blanquirroja' revealed some details of the planning he has been doing and how his work will be regarding the local, global, and individual tournaments.
"It is not only important to consider when the tournament ends, but also when it resumes. That will be the key because we can take advantage of some dates in November, but the important thing is that the players have their vacations, as is customary in the elite, and they can return very strong to resume the championship in January," the coach began in an interview for RPP.
Similarly, the former Cruz Azul coach stated that he will have a conversation to verify details for the upcoming season in the national competition. "The communication we have with the clubs is important, the rethinking of a new tournament, how we want it to develop," highlighted Reynoso.
"These details are pending and surely next week, when I am in Lima, we will progress on that," added the coach, who is currently in Mexico, preparing the first meetings with foreign football players.
Finally, Juan Reynoso explained his plan for Liga 1 players to gain experience representing the 'Blanquirroja'. "We are eager to have a local national team, whether before or after the tournament, to see the players and for them to get closer to what it means to play for the senior national team, which is a significant difference from the league," he asserted.
