Gustavo Dulanto, Peruvian defender who plays for Riga FC in Latvia, confessed that he will seek to stay in European football for a few more years. He also revealed that Universitario tried to bring him back.
"I always aspire to great things. Here, at Riga FC, the club and the infrastructure have impressed me, they have treated me like a king, so all that is left is to work with a lot of sacrifice," Dulanto pointed out to Depor.

Regarding whether or not Universitario de Deportes was interested in him, the 27-year-old center-back emphasized: "Yes, there was contact, but Sheriff wanted to sell me no matter what. 'U' didn't reach that amount (…) now I'm starting from scratch."
"The idea of returning to Universitario is always present. I follow the team closely, but now my mind is set on staying abroad. I hope to stay for five more years," concluded the Peruvian defender.
