A new challenge in his professional life. Diego Buonanotte has been officially presented as a Sporting Cristal player. The 34-year-old Argentine midfielder has signed a contract with the celestial team until the end of 2023, during which he will try to become a decisive footballer.
"It is an important moment in my career. I believe that I am very well prepared. I accept the challenge in a big team like Sporting Cristal," said Buonanotte at a press conference.
Likewise, the former River Plate player stated that he has already had his first conversation with Roberto Mosquera and expects to debut as soon as possible in the Liga 1. "I had already talked to the coach and I told the club's people that I wanted to start training. I am already at the disposal of the coaching staff," he added.

Finally, Buonanotte believes that the experience he had in big teams will be a good contribution to be a protagonist in the team and aim to win the national championship.
"I was lucky to play in important teams that always have the obligation to fight for titles and I come with that expectation," emphasized the former player of Universidad Católica de Chile.

The celestial team will host Sport Huancayo on Saturday, July 9, for the first round of the Torneo Clausura 2022.
