Faced with the recent poor results, the board decided to change the leadership of the squad for the remainder of the season: Juan Carlos Bazalar was dismissed from his position as coach.

According to the statement issued by the Tarma institution, there was a mutual agreement with the national strategist to terminate the contractual relationship. "We thank him for winning the Copa Peru 2021 and wish him success in his future," the club highlighted on its social media.

Let's remember that last Sunday, ADT suffered their fourth consecutive defeat, being defeated 3-0 in their visit to Academia Cantolao. Precisely, after that match, Juan Carlos Bazalar had an incident outside the Miguel Grau Stadium: he was almost assaulted by a group of 'Vendaval celeste' hooligans.

On the other hand, with 'Juanca's' departure, the management confirmed that Carlos Gutierrez, coach of the reserve team, will lead the professional squad's training sessions on an interim basis starting this Tuesday, June 28.

However, Claudio Vidal Limaylla, president of ADT, revealed that they have already chosen the coach who will replace Bazalar. "We spoke with Franco Navarro and he will possibly arrive on Thursday. Due to the regulations, he cannot manage the Apertura (the last match), and he will be in the stands," commented the director to Radio Tarma.
