Elimination of the Peruvian national team caused various reactions among the players of the Bicolor, such as Luis Advincula, Carlos Zambrano, Sergio Pena, among others. One of the latest to speak out was Edison Flores, who came on in the second half of the match against Australia and came close to scoring the winning goal.

'Orejas' posted a status on his Instagram account that left a message that generated intrigue. In the post you can see a photo of the former Universitario player accompanied by the phrase "Thank you for everything" and, below, the word "Revancha".

However, what caused controversy was the lyrics of a song, which accompanied the post. In it you can read that it says: "And this hurts. I have to go. I don't want to go. I have to leave. I don't want to leave".

After Peru's defeat to Australia, Luis Advincula also spoke out and referred to himself as "the only one responsible for this debacle". In the following lines, he announced that he will "step aside" from the Peruvian national team. However, minutes later, he deleted his post.

"First, I apologize to my family and friends for all the pain I caused and to all of Peru," he began on Instagram and immediately added: "I am the only one responsible for this debacle and I will not have enough life to apologize. Today, I step aside from the national team. I don't think I have the strength to recover from this," was the message from the popular 'Bolt'.
