Chilean and Colombian fans joined forces to cheer on the 'Socceros' in their match against Peru for the playoffs for the 2022 Qatar World Cup. Unbelievable!

But before the national squad faced the Socceroos, several Colombians and Chileans took to social media to send negative vibes to the white and red team, expressing their desire for the oceanic team to prevent the Peruvian team from going to the World Cup.

Through Twitter, it was evident that many of these fans even started saying that Graham Arnold's team should defeat the "worst team in CONMEBOL". They also highlight that the colors are "one of the most hated nations in the South American continent".

"If we want to see interesting matches in the World Cup, Australia has to win. Who is going to watch Peru's matches? Not even Peruvians", "Australia will win. Who will be rooting for Peru? It is the second most hated country in South America", "Australia will defeat the worst team in CONMEBOL", "I am speaking for all of South America when I say that Australia deserves to go through", "Australia must win. Peru's victories are based on mistakes by opponents and not because of the team", read some comments.

It is worth mentioning that the Chilean National Team lost any chance of going to the World Cup, as FIFA issued a statement against them in the Byron Castillo case, while Colombia lost their chance to qualify for the World Cup after losing to Peru in Barranquilla.

Chile will go to the TAS

After FIFA's decision in the Byron Castillo case, the ANFP announced that they will go to the TAS to continue defending their position regarding the nationality of the Barcelona SC defender, so they will keep fighting to be in the 2022 World Cup.
