Through an official statement, Delfín SC announced that it will submit a request for reconsideration to the Ecuadorian Football Federation.
This is directed at the refereeing team led by Franklin Congo in the match where the Cetaceans faced Liga Deportiva Universitaria, at Rodrigo Paz Stadium, last weekend.
Liga de Quito achieved a valuable victory against Delfín but the people from Manabí feel disadvantaged by the refereeing, and that's why they are going to request this recourse.
It is worth remembering that right after the match, Delfín coach Guillermo Sanguinetti said: "Today I understand why clubs ask for VAR. In the goal, there was a foul against one of our players and then it was our throw-in. Today we were stripped and I'm not in normal conditions to speak."
