Ricardo Gareca has left a mark on the Peruvian National Team, not only for the glorious qualification to the World Cup after 36 years, but also for the different streaks he has 'broken' in the six years and eight months he has been in charge of the team: he debuted in March 2015.
The numbers of the 'Tigre' back him up, for that reason he won't stand still and will go for a new goal: the blow in Caracas against Venezuela, which will allow the Peruvian National Team to stay alive in the Qualifiers for Qatar 2022.
One more victory for the 'Tigre'
Winning away, in the Qualifiers, is not something simple and the national team, before Ricardo Gareca took charge, always found it difficult to earn three points away from Lima.
However, since the 'Tigre' arrived, the scenario changed, and the altitude of Quito and the dangerous Asunción were unlocked for the first time. So much so that out of the ten victories that the Peruvian National Team has in the history of the Qualifiers, three were under the command of Ricardo Gareca.
After 24 years, in which Peru has not been able to celebrate in the house of the 'Vinotinto', the 'sele' will seek to make history in Caracas, and if they have the 'Tigre' in charge, how can we not get excited?
Peru's away victories in the history of the Qualifiers
The Peruvian National Team achieved 10 away victories throughout history, and three of them were achieved by Ricardo Gareca.
