Peru will seek to join the fight to qualify for Qatar 2022

According to journalist Kevin Pacheco from RPP, Josepmir Ballón and Percy Liza are closely followed by the coaching staff of the Blanquirroja and could be called up for this convocation.
In addition, the communicator indicated that Gustavo Dulanto is most likely not included in the list of the Argentine strategist, despite the good performances he has been having with Sheriff FC in the UEFA Champions League.
Ballón is one of the undisputed starters of Alianza Lima and has had a good performance in the Liga 1 Betsson. On the other hand, Liza is one of the revelations of the national championship and has already scored six goals with Sporting Cristal in 2021.

The Peruvian national team must earn six points in the next double date of the Qatar 2022 Qualifiers to keep their chances of qualifying for the World Cup intact. Peru will host Bolivia on Thursday, November 11 and visit Venezuela on Tuesday, November 16. The Blanquirroja has 11 points and is in the ninth position in the standings, five units away from the playoff zone.
