Libertad's Moment of Doubt
Practically out of the fight for the Apertura title, with two consecutive defeats in the Copa Libertadores and this Wednesday falling victim to Caracas in Venezuela, that's the moment Libertad is going through and it raises doubts about the continuity of the Argentine coach Ramón Díaz.
In a conversation with Urbana al Máximo, Doctor Manuel Verón de Astrada spoke about a great disappointment that surrounds the board, which did not imagine this scenario when hiring a coach of Pelado's stature.
"Can you imagine the excitement we had when we hired a coach like Ramón? No one expected this. We hired all the players he asked for, we made every effort, gave them everything and the result was not what we expected," he said on 106.9 FM.
Verón de Astrada said that the situation is complicated because it is difficult to find another high-level coach at this time due to the pandemic. But in the end, the honorary president of the club, Horacio Cartes, will decide the fate of the coach.
