According to the German newspaper Sport Bild, Claudio Pizarro has renewed his contract with Werder Bremen for only 6 days, in order to be present in the matches against Heidenheim and fight for the permanence in the Bundesliga of Germany.
But the "Bombardero" is not the only one who has extended his contract for 6 days, Langkamp, Bartels, Vogt, Bittencourt, Lang and Toprak have also done so, who, like the Peruvian, were ending their contract with Bremen today.
Pizarro's team will have to face Heidenheim on July 2nd and 6th for a spot in the next season, and the 'Bombardero' will reach the end of the contract that linked him to Werder Bremen, where, according to his words, he would end his professional career this season.
Bremen avoided direct relegation to the Second Division in the last match of the Bundesliga season, but they still cannot celebrate.
