After debuting against Paraguay in the South American Qualifiers in March, the Peruvian National Team must focus on their participation in the Copa America; for that, the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) is looking for a couple of preparation friendlies. Opponents? The first one that appears is Argentina. Later, two European countries.
"We have several proposals for matches prior to the Copa America, which are against Argentina and some European countries. We want both matches to take place in Peru," said Agustin Lozano, president of the FPF, in Fútbol Como Cancha from RPP Noticias.
The president of the FPF stated that on Friday or Saturday the opponents of the Peruvian National Team should be known. "If we play in Peru, we will face two teams that are not South American. If it's Argentina, we would play in the United States," he added.
Agustin Lozano, who returned from Colombia after witnessing Peru's debut in the Pre-Olympic tournament, assured that no matter what happens, the process of Nolberto Solano will be respected, who has the support of Juan Carlos Oblitas and Ricardo Gareca.
