Deportivo Coopsol will not stand still after the goalless draw between Atlético Grau and Deportivo Llacuabamba. In an interview with 'A Todo Gol' of RPP Noticias, the president of the 'Yellow Submarine', Freddy Ames, confirmed that they will submit a report to FIFA's Integrity Commission regarding the way in which the match unfolded.
"Everyone has witnessed what happened between Atlético Grau and Deportivo Llacuabamba. They deliberately avoided causing harm, knowing that a draw would take them to Liga 1 Movistar. This is a shameful event that goes beyond sports, what happened is something serious. We will submit a report to FIFA's Integrity Commission," he said.
In addition, the president of Deportivo Coopsol expressed his desire for a statement from the FPF on the matter and revealed that their complaint to FIFA will be copied to the highest entity in Peruvian football.
"The report we have submitted to FIFA will be copied to the FPF and we hope they will speak out. The Federation must safeguard something, which is the concept that leads us to be present. We have made a great effort to reach this stage and it cannot be that we are left out due to a lack of understanding. It goes against the principle of Fair Play," he concluded.
