Peruvian U-23 National Team will train this Tuesday, despite the friendly matches with the highland country being canceled.

The Peruvian U-23 National Team had two international friendly matches scheduled with their Bolivian counterparts, but both were postponed due to the crisis that the country is facing following the resignation of Evo Morales.

The Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) assured that the Peruvian National Team U23 will continue training on Tuesday, despite the postponement of the friendly matches against Bolivia following Evo Morales' resignation. The national team players will not return to their clubs for now.

"The details of how our U23 National Team's preparation will continue will be announced in due course. Meanwhile, tomorrow's training on Tuesday 12th will go ahead as planned," said the FPF in its statement.

Furthermore, the entity sent a message to the neighboring country due to the crisis it is going through. "The FPF hopes that Bolivia can resolve these issues as soon as possible and sends all its support," it concluded in its statement. The Bolivian Football Federation announced that the U23 matches against the Peruvian team, scheduled for the 14th and 17th of this month, were postponed due to the crisis in the country.
