Alliance Lima and Alliance University faced each other on Saturday at the Alejandro Villanueva stadium for Matchday 14 of the Clausura Tournament of Liga 1. At the end of the match, the 'azulgrana' team reported a gas smell in the visitor's locker room, so they had to hold the halftime talk on the stairs.
Regarding this, Alliance Lima issued a statement this morning stating that they will take the necessary measures to solve the mentioned problem in the locker room.
"Alliance Lima Club informs the public opinion that, after the events that occurred in the areas near the locker rooms at the Alejandro Villanueva stadium, the facilities have been checked and a septic tank cleaning has been carried out as well as the installation of an extractor to improve the conditions of the locker rooms," the club said in the statement.
"Alliance Lima Club has always been characterized by seeking the best attention and well-being for all our guests, including rival teams," they concluded.
Despite only getting one point in this matchday, the 'intimo' team continues to lead the Clausura Tournament and remains in the fight to win the title at the end of the year.
