Sport Boys defeated FBC Melgar 4-2 and sentenced Pirata FC's relegation in the 14th round of the 2019 Clausura Tournament.

Sebastián Gonzáles Zela (5'), Ángel Romero (own goal, 7'), Reimond Manco (44'), and Jesús Chávez (81') scored the goals for Sport Boys at the 'Miguel Grau' Stadium in Callao, while Bernardo Cuesta (66') and David Villalba (77') scored for FBC Melgar.

Hours earlier, Pirata FC was defeated 3-0 by Cantolao, also at the 'Miguel Grau' Stadium in Callao. This result, along with Sport Boys' victory, sentenced the northern team to Liga 2.

Pirata FC stayed in last place (18) with 21 points. One place above (17) is San Martín with 28 points. The saint team will face César Vallejo in Trujillo on Sunday (6:00 p.m.).

Sport Boys, on the other hand, looks more tranquilly at the table, with 31 points and in 16th place after their victory against FBC Melgar.
