A few weeks ago, Christian Cueva was involved in a new incident: the player of the Peruvian national team fought in a bar in the town of Santos and was suspended from the club after that event. In an interview with Fox Sports Radio Peru, Juan Reynoso (current coach of Puebla in the Liga MX) was asked about the current situation of 'Aladino' and what he thought about what happened.
"With all due respect, we are old enough to know what is good for us and what is not. In the end, football is a short career and I would add the concept of 'treacherous' because if you do not respect the profession of a football player and do not see it as a 'lifesaver' situation, because not everyone could go to college, you can end up paying the price and then the regrets come," said Juan Reynoso about Christian Cueva.
"That has to be the reflection. Each person will decide what is good for them and what is not, and how they manage their image," concluded the Puebla coach about the player from the 'Bicolor'.
On the other hand, this Friday the Peruvian national team faces Uruguay in a new friendly match and it seems that Christian Cueva will be on the substitute bench, as Ricardo Gareca has tried a 4-3-3 system with Carlos Ascues, Renato Tapia, and Christofer Gonzales.
