José María Giménez praised Paolo Guerrero ahead of friendly match between Peru and Uruguay
In a press conference, Uruguayan defender José María Giménez spoke highly of Internacional striker Paolo Guerrero, referring to him as an "admirable player" and stating that "he is highly respected."
"He is an admirable player and someone to watch out for in a match, especially as a central defender because he can cause a lot of damage if he gets the ball," said Giménez, who is a regular starter for the team led by Óscar Washington Tabárez.
"Speaking of Peru, all the players are currently doing a great job. Regarding Guerrero, he is a player who is highly respected," added Giménez.

"If he plays on Friday and reaches the milestone of 100 matches, I congratulate him. It must be something very beautiful and admirable to play 100 matches for your national team. He is a player that we have all seen and know," he said.
"He has given, gave, and continues to give a lot to the Peruvian national team. He is an example, a player who never gives up, always fighting in the game. He has many physical abilities and quality," added 'Josema'.
