Peru vs Uruguay: José María Giménez praised Paolo Guerrero, two days before the friendly match for the FIFA date between Peru and Uruguay. In a press conference, the Uruguayan defender described the Internacional striker as an "admirable player" and indicated that "he is highly respected."

"He is an admirable player and one to watch out for in a game, especially as a central because he is a player who, if he gets the ball, can do a lot of damage," Giménez said, who is one of the regular starters in the team managed by Óscar Washington Tabárez.

"If I talk about Peru, nowadays, all the players are doing a great job. Regarding Guerrero, he is a player who is highly respected," Giménez added.

On the other hand, the Atlético de Madrid player referred to the hundred matches that Paolo Guerrero will play with the Peruvian national team. "If he plays on Friday and reaches 100 matches, congratulations to him. Playing 100 matches for your national team must be something very beautiful and admirable. He is a player that we all have seen, we know him," he said.

"He has given, he gave and he continues to give a lot to the Peruvian national team. He is an example, a player who never gives up, who is always fighting in the game; he has many physical and technical abilities," 'Josema' added.

Peru will face Uruguay in Montevideo on Friday 11th at 6:00 p.m. After that, the 'Blanquirroja' will play against the Uruguayan team again on Tuesday 15th of this month at the Estadio Nacional. The scheduled time for that match is 8:30 p.m.
