Mars Media announced the first Major of the 2019-2020 DPC season of Dota 2 which will take place in Chengdu, China, from November 16 to 24, 2019.
MDL Chengdu will be the event that returns to China after the last 2 editions held in Macao and Disneyland Paris in the 2018-2019 season.

The first Major of the Dota Pro Circuit season will have a total prize of 1 million dollars and 15,000 DPC points. The event will take place between November 16 and 24. As usual, we will see 16 of the best teams gathered in one place.
No official information has been revealed about the teams that will participate from each region. All participants will have to fight to reach the event through regional qualifiers. However, some squads have already announced that they will skip this important tournament. Despite that, there are many newly formed teams that will definitely face the challenge and make the event worthwhile.
The qualifiers for both the Minor and the Major will be held from October 5 to 10. The invited teams from the regional qualifiers will be announced shortly after the end of registration on September 28.
