When Alianza Lima seemed to have the three points in the bag, Deportivo Municipal woke up to level the match at Mansiche de Trujillo, after referee Víctor Hugo Carrillo awarded two decisive penalties. Consequently, the 'ediles' drew 2-2 against the 'intimos' in the last minute.
Juan Succar suffered the first penalty, after an Alianza Lima defender caused him to fall inside Leao Butrón's area.
