Yordy Reyna bid farewell to his club with a great goal. Before joining the training sessions of the Peruvian National Team for the two friendly matches against Ecuador and Brazil, the Peruvian forward scored with the Vancouver Whitecaps in the MLS.
Although the 'Caps' lost 3-1 at home against New York City last Saturday night, the Peruvian attacker shone at 64 minutes with a half-volley and a powerful shot into the top right corner of the goal. The number 29 remained on the field for the entire 90 minutes.
With this goal, Yordy Reyna reaches seven goals in 22 matches with his team so far this 2019 season. This is the second time he has scored against NYC. The first time was in July 2017, which marked his first goal with the American team.

With this result at BC Place, the Vancouver Whitecaps remains last in the Western Conference table of the MLS with only 27 points, 15 points behind the last qualifying spot for the playoff finals.
The next match for Yordy Reyna's team will be on Saturday, September 14th against Dynamo, a team that is ranked second to last with 31 points.
