Last Friday, Ricardo Gareca presented the list of call-ups for the Peruvian National Team for the first two official friendly matches before the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Qualifiers.
The absence of Paolo Guerrero was what caught the attention of all the national team fans; however, the 'Predator' is not the only foreigner who was left out of the list.
It is known that the Peruvian Football Federation sent 25 letters to foreign clubs where Peruvian players are playing; however, only 18 received the national call-up. For this reason, seven other players were left without a call-up.
