Lima 2019: This is how Ariana Orrego and Sandra Collantes competed for a place on the podium in Artistic Gymnastics [VIDEO]

Peruvian gymnasts Ariana Orrego and Sandra Collantes went through all four apparatus, but they couldn't surpass the competitors from Argentina, Brazil and Cuba at the Lima 2019 Pan American Games.

They never lost support. Ariana Orrego and Sandra Collantes did not reach the podium after their participation in the artistic gymnastics final, in the individual modality. Both compatriots are part of 'Team Peru' in the Pan American Games Lima 2019.

The Peruvian gymnasts went through the balance beam, vault, floor, and uneven bars, but in the accumulated score, they did not surpass Canadian Elsabeth Black and American Riley McCusker.

Ariana Orrego, an Olympic gymnast in Rio 2016, obtained a total score of 46.250, while her teammate Sandra Collantes scored 47.450.

During their participation, both had the unconditional support of the entire audience that came to the Polideportivo in Villa El Salvador, where the individual artistic gymnastics final took place.

Peruvians Jesús Moreto and Daniel Agüero also entered the individual artistic gymnastics final after their participation in the team event yesterday.
