PREVIEW
The Peruvian national volleyball team, senior category, will have a tough debut in their quest to finish the Pan American Cup in seventh place when they face Trinidad and Tobago, one of the qualifiers for this final round from Group B.
The Peruvian volleyball team finished fourth in Group A after a resounding 3-0 loss to the Dominican Republic (25-22, 25-22, 25-18), which left them out of the title fight.
Trinidad and Tobago, on the other hand, finished last in Group B after losing all four matches and not winning a single set. Undoubtedly, the Trinidadian team is the weakest opponent in the tournament, but that cannot be synonymous with confidence for the Peruvian squad.
Remember that this match marks the debut of the Peruvian volleyball team at the Chiclayo Closed Coliseum, since the first part of the Pan American Cup 2019 was played in Trujillo.
