After his signing was announced on social media, Peruvian full-back Luis Advincula was finally presented today as the new reinforcement of Rayo Vallecano in LaLiga Santander in Spain, at the Estadio de Vallecas.
Luis Advincula showed great excitement during the press conference and the reception from the "rayista" fans, admitting that he is very happy to take on this new challenge at the age of 28. He also mentioned that, unlike previous occasions when he had to play in Europe, this time he has more experience and feels "much more mature" and "consolidated."
Speaking to the Iberian press, the player of the Peruvian National Team highlighted: "I am fulfilling a personal dream of coming to play in the best league in the world and I hope that things go well, both for me and for the team."
He confessed that he didn't think twice when he received the offer to play for Rayo Vallecano, stating that "I didn't hesitate and came right away." He also revealed that he communicated with fellow Peruvian Christian Cueva (who currently plays for Russian club Krasnodar), who also had a stint with Rayo Vallecano, to get a preview of the situation that he now enjoys with ambition for progress.
On the other hand, Luis Advincula defined himself as "a player who doesn't give up on any ball." "I really like to attack, but I always try to take care of my area," said the popular 'Bolt' before declaring that he is ready to take on the challenge wearing the Rayo Vallecano shirt.
"More than pressure, I see it as a responsibility," clarified Luis Advincula in his introduction as a reinforcement of 'La Franja'.
