The Peruvian national team will play their penultimate friendly match against Saudi Arabia this Sunday, as part of their preparation for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, with striker Paolo Guerrero in the starting lineup.
The Peruvian team completed their second day of training on Saturday in the Austrian city of Bludenz, near their training camp in Schruns. They performed physical exercises and then the coach, Argentine Ricardo Gareca, organized a closed-door practice match.
As it was learned, Gareca used Guerrero as the lone striker, with André Carrillo, Christian Cueva, and Edison Flores on the flanks, while forward Jefferson Farfán was on the bench.
In addition to Guerrero, central defender Anderson Santamaría entered the training session on Saturday, replacing Alberto Rodríguez, and is highly likely to start against Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
