Three crystal hearts and a liqueur made of Tyrolean honey bees were delivered today to Paolo Guerrero by the Peruvian Cultural Association in Tyrol, during the second day of training for the national team held at Sport Arena in Bludenz, Austria.

Diana Mendoza, the organization president (and former school correspondent for El Comercio), was in charge of giving the gifts to the captain of the national team, in recognition of the enormous work carried out by the team led by Ricardo Gareca to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

"The hearts are made in the Austrian Alps. We gave them as a demonstration of the affection of Peruvians who live so far from our homeland for the effort made by our national team," said Gonzales.

Peruvians in Tyrol, as well as others from different cities in Austria, Italy, and Germany, have organized to be present in the match that the national team will have tomorrow at 1:00 pm (Peruvian time) against Saudi Arabia, at Kybunpark Stadium in San Galo, Switzerland.

This will be the penultimate preparatory match before the World Cup debut on June 16th in Saransk against Denmark.
