Through his official Youtube channel, "Liberman Martín," the journalist gave a thorough analysis of Peru's performance in the 'Clásico del Pacífico' against Chile. He harshly criticized Juan Reynoso's team's level, which fails to score goals in the World Cup qualifiers.
As if that were not enough, he referred to Paolo Guerrero, who has not been able to show his goal-scoring ability with the Peruvian national team. Liberman feels that the 'Depredador' does not have the same conditions as in Liga de Quito, as he cannot perform at his maximum potential without support in the attack.
"Peru will have to work hard. I think they miss Lapadula. Paolo Guerrero has a great level in Liga de Quito, but he doesn't show it in the national team. Similarly, he made it clear that they cannot expect a Paolo Guerrero with the physical conditions of his best moments, so he expects a restructuring of Peru's game to avoid declining in the standings for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
"We cannot ask Guerrero to cross and header, especially at the age of 40. There is a game that Peru does not have, which is currently detrimental to Guerrero's possibilities.
