A few days before the Peruvian national team plays its last preparation match against Scotland, and travels to compete in the 2018 FIFA World Cup, dozens of fans took part in the Flag Raising in Plaza de Armas.
Thus, a giant flag measuring 5 by 10 meters was displayed so that thousands of fans could write messages of encouragement for our team.
It was a celebration in which dancers with masks of Jefferson Farfán, Christian Cueva, Edison "Oreja" Flores, and even the coach, Ricardo Gareca, paraded.
According to the Education and Sports Management of the Lima municipality, the giant flag will be taken to the last training sessions of the national team at VIDENA so that the players can read the messages.
This activity will also be repeated on Sunday in the "Lima Corre con la Selección de Fútbol 7K" race, which will run from Plaza de Armas to the Circuit Mágico del Agua Park.
