Paolo Guerrero used his Instagram account to thank the unconditional support of Flamengo fans. The forward of the Peruvian National Team returned to the field on Sunday and the Maracaná chanted his name.

"Football is my life, my passion and it provides these beautiful moments. Isso aqui é Flamengo (This is Flamengo) #naçãorubronegra," wrote the captain of the Peruvian national team on his Instagram account.

Paolo Guerrero is more than confident in a favorable decision from the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). On May 3, the forward and his lawyers appeared in court and are awaiting the final decision.

The forward of the Peruvian national team and his team of lawyers request the acquittal of the six-month punishment imposed by FIFA (which was completed on May 3). Meanwhile, the World Anti-Doping Association is requesting an increase in the punishment to two years.
