Waiting game. Paolo Guerrero's lawyer asks for patience
We have to wait. Paolo Guerrero's lawyer, Pedro Fida, asked for patience to await the final results of the case of the captain of the Peruvian National Team. This request was made after an 8-hour session held at the offices of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (Lausanne, Switzerland).
"We always ask for it (Guerrero's innocence to be recognized), but we have to wait for a final response. We do not know when it will come. We just have to wait for the result, we remain confident," said one of the lawyers representing the 'Depredador', who showed caution and quickly left the Tribunal's offices.

"We cannot give details of what has happened because it is a confidential hearing, but we remain very confident about the outcome because the case is solid and we have had the opportunity to clearly present all the evidence we have," said Pedro Fida.
The final decision of Guerrero's case will be announced in the coming days and has a maximum period of 20 days that starts counting from this moment. However, the Peruvian National Team's attacker's lawyers remained calm, which could be a good sign.
For now, the Flamengo forward is able to play this Sunday at the Maracanã stadium at 2:00 p.m. (Peruvian time) against Internacional for the 4th round of the Brasileirao.
It is still a mystery whether the response will be as expected by Paolo Guerrero or not, but what is clear is that we will be able to see the 'Depredador' in action this weekend and find out if these 6 months of inactivity have affected the idol of the Peruvian National Team.
