The coach of Universitario de Deportes didn't check his cellphone until he got home. And, apart from the news that had him as the protagonist, he didn't see anything else. No messages or calls from anyone from 'Lobo'. No communication at all. The 'U' administration, however, chose to clarify the matter.

"The club has not contacted Pedro Troglio or his representative. On our side, we want to continue with him and the other members of the coaching staff. We believe that the poor results are not due to his work, but to other factors," said Carlos Moreno to Depor.
Keeps doing his thing
Without any proposal from another team, 'Pedrito' focuses only on Sunday's match against Cristal, the only opponent that Universitario de Deportes has not been able to beat since he arrived in Peru in April 2017. However, they haven't lost either: the three times they faced each other ended in a draw.
The 'cremas' of Troglio, along with Ayacucho and UTC, are the only ones who have managed to take points away from the 'rimenses' in the Torneo de Verano. In addition, they have already gone undefeated in seven matches. Will they extend the streak?
