Paúl Vélez, Macará's coach, has defined the lineup with which his team will make their debut on Monday in the Copa Libertadores against Deportivo Táchira from Venezuela.
The Ecuadorian coach would field: Carlos Espinoza in goal; Galo Corozo, Marcos Mier, Moisés Corozo, Leonel Quiñónez in defense; Elvis Patta, José Cazares, Carlos Feraud, Carlos Arboleda in midfield; Ronald Champang and Juan Tévez in attack.
Patta, who came from Universidad Católica to play for the celeste club, said that being part of the team is a challenge for him and that he will strive to give 100% on the field.
The players are pleased to play in front of a packed Bellavista stadium because they know that the 14,000 tickets that went on sale have sold out, which will give them the best motivation to secure the three points. (D)
