There is not much left to debut in the Copa Libertadores and Universitario de Deportes is preparing in the best way. The Pedro Troglio team put aside the off-field problems and started training hard thinking about their debut against Oriente Petrolero.
The team was led by their captain Juan Manuel Vargas in an intense three-shift training session, which included work on Campomar beach.

After the tough exercises, the players relaxed for a few minutes in the sea, but then returned to the field to practice movements with the ball.

The first major test for the team will be on Wednesday, January 17 at the Estadio Monumental against DIM from Colombia. The match will be valid for the 'Noche Crema'.
