Team from Panamericana Televisión attacked by New Zealand fans

A team from Panamericana Televisión was attacked this morning by New Zealand fans while covering the exclusive coverage from Wellington, prior to the match between Peru vs. New Zealand.

The Director of Teledeportes, Omar Ruiz de Somocurcio, was conducting the live transmission when suddenly a group of young people stormed in and interrupted the broadcast in order to appear in front of the cameras.

The journalist revealed that these individuals had been following them for several blocks and even broke the camera's light stand. When they tried to continue their work, it was the manager of the establishment who sent one of his employees to continue harassing them.

Things quickly escalated when the fans physically attacked the team of journalists. Fortunately, there were a group of Peruvian fans at the venue who came to the defense of the journalistic team.
