Definitely it was not the best of returns. Renato Tapia played again this Wednesday after his injury, but could not avoid Feyenoord's defeat (3-1) against Shakhtar Donetsk for the fourth match of the Champions League group stage.
The Peruvian player started and played until the 72nd minute, when he was substituted by Kevin Diks.
At first, the worst was feared when it was thought that Renato Tapia had re-injured himself; however, this is not the case.
Tapia, who played as a center-back, left the field without major inconvenience and did not even need medical assistance. This can be seen in the various videos that have been published on social media.
It is expected that the former Twente player will arrive in Lima over the weekend to join the Peruvian National Team's training for the matches against New Zealand in the playoff.
